AT&T starts rolling out Android 5.1.1 update to the Nexus 6

AT&T has commenced rollout of the Android 5.1.1 update for the Nexus 6.

The update takes the Nexus 6 from LMY47D (Android 5.1.0) to build number LMY47Z (5.1.1). The same build was available for Nexus 6 owners on Sprint and U.S. Cellular last month.

The OTA, coming in at 81MB, should be rolling out now. If you’re on the AT&T Nexus 6, be sure to head into your device’s settings to check manually if the update is available. The carrier’s site notes the following changes:

• Disable Smart Lock feature when EAS password policy is enforced
