AT&T’s no-contract subsidiary Cricket Wireless has started a new promotion that cuts the prices on two of its Windows Phones, the Lumia 530 and the Lumia 635, from now until July 9.
If a customer brings their old phone number to Cricket Wireless, and buys the Lumia 635, they will get it for 99 cents. The deal is only available in Cricket’s retail stores and requires the activation of a smartphone plan, along with the first month’s service charge up front. The other deal, for the Lumia 530, will let customers buy the smartphone for $ 29.99 and then get a $ 30 mail-in rebate.
