Samsung has launched its first set of smartphones that offer front LED flash, the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7, in China.
Both devices sport a 5MP camera at the front along with a 13MP shooter at the back with a f/1.9 lens. The mid-range devices come with 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, LTE connectivity and dual-SIM functionality. On the software front, the handsets run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The Galaxy J5 boasts a 5-inch HD display, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 CPU and a 2,600mAh battery, while the larger Galaxy J7 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU and a 3,000mAh battery. The Galaxy J5 is up for sale in China for 1,398 CNY ($ 225), while the Galaxy J7 is available for 1,798 CNY ($ 290). Both are offered in gold, white and black color variants.
At this stage, there’s no information to suggest when these devices will be made available outside of China. Would you guys be interested in either device if it were to launch globally?
