ARCHOS 50 Helium Plus and 55 Helium Plus heading to the U.K. in July

Announced earlier this month, ARCHOS’ budget 50 Helium Plus and 55 Helium Plus will be available in the U.K. from next month.

The 50 Helium Plus will be priced at £119, with the 55 Helium Plus coming in at £139. Both devices offer Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and come with a MediaTek MT6735P SoC with a quad-core Cortex A53 clocked at 1GHz and a Mali T720 GPU.

The 50 Helium Plus features a 5-inch 720p display, while the 55 Helium Plus has a larger 5.5-inch 720p screen. Other specs include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot (55 Helium Plus comes bundled with a 16GB SD card), 13MP camera, 5MP front shooter, LTE Category 4 and dual-SIM connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a 2,000mAh battery (2,400mAh on the 55 Helium Plus).

Considering the price point, the hardware on offer sure does look enticing. Both devices will be available for purchase in the country from July.
