Adobe launches four Creative Cloud apps for Android

Adobe brings four of its Creative Cloud photo editiing apps over from iOS to Android for the first time

Adobe Photoshop Mix for Android

In April Adobe promised to start launching more of its photo editing apps for Android devices starting this summer. It now appears that the company has launched four of those apps a bit earlier than promised in the Google Play Store. One of the apps is Photoshop Mix, a replacement of sorts to Photoshop Touch that was discontinued in May. Here’s a quick look at the new Photoshop Mix:

  • Cut out and remove sections of your images or merge multiple photos.

  • Seamlessly combine photos together to create fun or surreal images.

  • Adjust colors and contrast or apply preset FX Looks (filters) to your pictures. Enhance the entire image, or just a portion with the touch of your finger.

  • Non-destructive editing means your original pics stay pristine and untouched.

  • Quickly and easily share your creations on social media.

The other three Adobe apps have specific image editing functions. Color CC extracts specific colors from images and lets users share color themes with others Shape CC turns images into vector graphics, while Brush CC alters images into brushes which can later be used in Adobe Illustrator CC or Adobe Photoshop CC. All four apps require a free Adobe ID account and an Internet connection.
