The popular third-party Microsoft Band app Pimp My Band for Windows Phone got a small but useful update today. The new version adds a way for owners of the fitness band to include a live tile on the phone that monitors the band’s battery life on a phone’s home screen.
The new update also brings the app’s version number to an even 2.0.0.0. Again, while this isn’t a major update, Pimp My Band’s developer has been very consistent in adding new features on a regular basis. In just the last few weeks, the app has added a way for users to change the language on the Microsoft Band, along with a way to include the Bing.com image of the day on the band.
