Tim Cook shares photos from China, speaks at George Washington University

Apple CEO Tim Cook shared photos from China and wisdom for the graduating class at George Washington University.

The photos come from Tim Cook’s recent visit to Apple Stores in Xidan Joy City and West Lake in Hangzhou, as well as the Elementary School at Communication University in China.

It’s great to see innovation making a difference in the classroom, and we’re proud that iPad is a part of it.

Cook used the Weibo account he opened last week to share the photos.

Back to the U.S., Cook served as the commencement speaker at the spring 2015 graduation ceremony for George Washington University in Washington D.C. on Sunday. Apple’s CEO spoke about growing up in Alabama, his meeting with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs 17 years ago, and more. He advised the graduating class that they didn’t have to give up their core moral beliefs in order to get a well-paying job.

You don’t have to choose between doing good and doing well. It’s a false choice, today more than ever.
