LG Watch Urbane is now available in India for a pricey ₹29,999 ($472)

LG has launched the Watch Urbane in India for ₹29,999 ($ 472), making it the costliest wearable in the country.

The Watch Urbane is now available for purchase in the country via Amazon India, with both gold and silver color variants listed. The $ 472 asking price is considerably higher than the $ 349 figure LG is quoting for the smartwatch in the US. At this stage, there’s no mention if the Watch Urbane will be available across other e-retailers in India.

Given the Watch Urbane’s premium pricing and the fact that the smartwatch segment is still in its nascent stages in India, we don’t expect the smartwatch to fly off store shelves anytime soon.
