Popular journaling app Day One has been updated for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, bringing with it a new way to sync your journal.
Day One has previously allowed users to sync their journals using iCloud and Dropbox. With Day One Sync, the company achieves two things: an independent syncing solution, and laying the groundwork for future improvements and features. These include multiple journals, shared journals, Day One on the web, and more.
Today’s update on iPhone and iPad also has the following improvements and changes:
- NEW: Day One Sync—An alternative service for syncing your Day One journal. (To learn more visit: http://dayoneapp.com/sync)
- FIXED: Various Apple Watch bug fixes and performance improvements.
- IMPROVED: Diagnostics email includes additional information.
- NEW: Added two new fonts—”Open Sans” and “Roboto.”
On the Mac side of things, Day One has added not only Day One Sync, but also a share extension for OS X Yosemite, as well as support for the new OS X Photos app. Day One for Mac has also added full support for Yosemite’s dark mode.
The updates for Day One are available now from both the iOS and Mac App Stores.
