The Android 5.1 Lollipop update has started rolling out to the second-gen Moto E.
If you happen to be sporting a second-gen Moto E, it looks like you should be getting a bump up to Android 5.1 fairly soon. Several users over at XDA Developers, along with one in our very own forums, have reported receiving the update, signaling that the update has begun rolling out.
While the tweaks and additions that Android 5.1 brings should be pretty familiar to most by now, Motorola’s official changelog indicates a number of bug fixes are coming along for the ride as well.
As is par for the course with rollouts like this, it may take several days for the 258MB update to hit your device, so sit tight if you haven’t received it yet. If you do happen to grab the over-the-air update, be sure to head over to our forums and let us know how it’s treating you.
