During today’s Build 2015 keynote address, Microsoft has revealed more about its plans to offer new APIs for Office, which will allow third-party developers to create apps and add-ins for Office applications. The company revealed some of those plans earlier this week when they posted their full Build 2015 panel schedule.
The Office API tool should be coming this week and more information can be checked out at the Dev.Office.com site. During the keynote, Microsoft showed off how LinkedIn, Uber, and other third-party companies could create apps that will use Outlook and other Office applications. The apps should work across many different platforms.
Stay tuned as we will have more news from the Build 2015 keynote throughout the day
